Mr. Dwayne Nurse, Procurement Associate for UNDP in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean

Mr. Dwayne Nurse

 

Dwayne Nurse has been the Procurement Associate for UNDP in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean since July 2018. Prior to this role, he spent four years as the Programme Associate for the Energy and Environment Programme team in the same Multi-Country Office. He has gained a wealth of knowledge in the areas of Procurement, Programme and Operations.

Before joining the UNDP in 2014, Mr. Nurse held the position of Economist in the Agricultural Planning Unit in the Ministry of Agriculture of Barbados. During that posting, his work and training allowed him to gain knowledge in the areas of food security, green financing, project management and international trade.

Mr. Nurse holds a Master's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Liverpool and a full professional accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Chain (MCIPS).
