Dominica Climate Resilience and Recovery Plan 2020-2030


The UK FCDO and UNDP Flexi Technical Assistance Fund (FTAF) promotes climate resilient recovery and development in Dominica and supports the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica’s (GoCD) vision to become the world’s first climate resilient nation.

The FTAF has been designed to fund capacity building initiatives that are directly linked to the Climate Resilience and Recovery Plan (CRRP) to support the GoCD in developing systems and critical capacity to spearhead climate resilient development.

The Objectives of the FTAF:

  1. To identify key capacity needs of the GoCD in consultation with the CREAD and GoCD and use agreed criteria to prioritise capacity development in the context of the outcomes and results of the CRRP.
  2. To fund capacity building to the GoCD through the FTAF based on GoCD priorities and as agreed with UK FCDO in the context of the outcomes and results of the CRRP.
  3. To provide a coordinated approach to capacity development in the GoCD in support of systems change towards climate resilient development, in line with the outcomes and results of the CRRP.
     
Applications for the third round of the FTAF are now open until 20 April 2021.  As per the ToRs of the FTAF, the fund is only open to the public sector of the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica (government ministries, departments, statutory bodies and agencies). Proposals must be linked to the outcomes and results of the CRRP to be considered for funding.  To learn more please see terms of reference here: TOR Flexi Doc

Please note the deadline for receipt of FTAF proposal application forms is 20 April 2021. Only completed forms linked to the Dominica CRRP will be considered.
