Enabling Activities for the Preparation of Barbados' Second National Communication to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)


This project will allow Barbados to prepare its second national communication to the Conference of Parties of the UNFCCC.  The main components of the project are (a) an inventory of greenhouse gases (b) an indication of programmes containing measures to facilitate adequate adaptation to climate change (c) an analysis of measures for greenhouse gas abatement ans (d) information related to the implementation of the UNFCCC.

Capacity Building and Mainstreaming of Sustainable Land Management in Grenada


The long-term goal of this project is to ensure that the agricultural, forest and other terrestrial land uses of Grenada promote sustainable, productive systems that maintain eco-system productivity and ecological functions while contributing directly to the environmental, economic and social well-being of the country.  The project objective is to strengthen capacities for sustainable land management within appropriate government, private sector and civil society institutions/user groups and mainstream sustainable land management principles and practices into long-term development practices.
