Unlike many aid-initiatives, MED offers direct support to individuals. It gives those in need a fair chance to take their future into their own hands and become independent. Persons are empowered to secure their future livelihoods through creating or expanding an income generating enterprise and so be part of development the local economy and a basis for future generations.
