Within the Caribbean donors have come together forming a matrix functioning on the basis of donor collaboration, allowing for important information exchange with regards to progress, and best practises. This will allow for enhanced monitoring mechanisms as well as more monitoring initiatives to be financed at the same time through partnerships and collaboration with stakeholders. The knowledge and information derived from efficient monitoring on a regular basis will for one provide the necessary data to assist governments and organisations targeting poverty reduction to design efficient poverty reduction strategies.
