Call for Proposals - Civil Society Small Grant Programme in Grenada

Mar 7, 2016

The United Nations system provides electoral and referendum support to UN member states through technical advice, logistical support and, where necessary, security.  In the majority of cases, this support is granted as a direct result of a special invitation from the receiving country. Since 1999, more than 100 countries have requested and have received UN election assistance.

This Call for Proposals (CFP) is specifically related to the UNDP’s project, “Support to Referendum on Constitutional Reform in Grenada.” The project seeks to assist the constitutional review process, in particular, the civic education and outreach efforts, which are key in sensitizing the public to the reforms being proposed, and a precursor to the public referendum needed to endorse any constitutional amendments.

This CFP applies to civil society organizations (CSOs), which includes not-for-profit entities such as a non-governmental organization, a community-based organization, an indigenous peoples organization, an academic institution (except public entities), or a journalist association.

Organisations are asked to complete the project proposal template and submit to no later than 11:59 p.m. on 1 April, 2016.
