Tsunami Warning Sign Unveiled at Martin’s Bay, Barbados

the erection of a sign at Martin’s Bay in St. John, Barbados is an important step in improving awareness of and preparedness for tsunamis both by community members and visitors alike with Martin’s Bay positioned as a prime attraction for tourists. The unveiling of the Tsunami Smart sign coincides with World Tsunami Awareness Day, celebrated on November 5.

J-CCCP Supports COP 21 & 22 Panel Discussion at the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum 2016

From October 17-19, five hundred delegates from fifty countries gathered for this year’s Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) in Miami, Florida. The Japan-Caribbean Climate Change Partnership (J-CCCP) joined participants at the forum to engage energy stakeholders from around the region in discussions pertaining to renewable energy.
